 Dreamer rocking the rabbit hunting test !  She was not only the only dog to retrieve the lure she also scored HIGH in trial for  Scenting, Trailing and Flushing .  Dreamer who had never seen a rabbit off lead and fought the muzzled portion of the test until she broke an "unbreakable" muzzle still out scored every other dog entered in the two day event.  This dog was born to hunt!

Dreamer's call name came before her registered one.  We have always celebrated every win with Champagne.  The kids had laughingly suggested calling her Bubbles but she is not a bubbly kind of girl.  Highly intelligent and infinitely sympathetic to people with special needs Dreamer stepped into her grandmother's paw prints as my companion and therapy dog.  While my Seizures are now under control Dreamer checks me the same way her Grandmom Jasmine always did. She knows when I have forgotten meds and pesters me mercilessly until I remember and then take care of it.  Natural Therapy dogs are fairly rare, however we are lucky in that our line is heavy with dogs who check and re check their charges.  Dreamer , like her grandfather before her, understands the need for a living heating pad when muscles are in spasm.  A bossy , funny bitch she is a delight to have in our family and home.  I would pity the attacker who thinks to get past D and her sister Caine.  Together the Raptors are a force to contend with !
